Come On

Come On was born with heavy inspiration from cinema, music, photography, and various cultural movements. An idea Florencia Macri, Creative Director of the brand, had in 2019. Autodidactic, curious, observant, and intuitive, studied cinema and photography, and Come On was the convergence of these things amongst others.

She traveled to Paris with the intention of acquiring the fabrics that were eventually used in the first collection. Tartan would be the main choice for all of Come On's future lines because it shows the influence of punk culture and aesthetic behind the narrative. 

In Paris, together with artist friends they started shaping the concept of the brand, doing photos and videos.

After buying the main fabrics, Florencia returned to Miami and found a warehouse in the Little River District that soon became Come On's workshop, microfactory, showroom and offices. 

Fashion Designer Pia Barberis joined the team and materialized the designs featured in Come On’s first collection, a pret-a-couture capsule, inspired by Punk and Glam.  After many months of work, ups and downs, running around trying to create patterns, and surfing all the difficulties brought by a pandemic, the team was able to create a genderless, timeless and versatile line, with classic and defiant designs, and incorporating old tailor traditions with a modern twist.
